Launch of Fendercare Diving Service Division
Our new diving services are a focused provider to the military, inshore and offshore world of underwater construction, IRM and salvage. We own and operate a full range of air diving and life support equipment and we have financial and technological support and geographical outlets offered by the Fendercare group.
Our management teams over 80 years experience in the inshore and offshore diving market place with services ranging between inshore construction reservoir upgrades, and bridge and harbour inspections. Our shallow water, near-shore operations include offshore wind farm support, long sea outfall inspections and repairs, subsea pipelines, PLEMS and loading terminals.
Our personal, diving plant and life support equipment are fully compliant with the requirements of the Offshore Approved Codes of Practice (ACOP) as defined within the HSE Diving at Work Regulations 1997, IMCA recommendations and best industry practice.
FenderCare acquire Australian Commercial Marine (ACM)
On January 22nd 2010, FenderCare acquired Australian Commercial Marine (ACM) of Perth Western Australia. ACM has a successful history of supplying marine products and services similar to those offered by FenderCare. They will add to our growing strength in the Asia Pacific region.
ACM is a family owned company, founded in 1992. From their base in Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, they have become a leading supplier to industrial and commercial marine sectors, including port and harbour operators, marina and jetty builders, ship builders and operators and the offshore oil industry.
As well as acting as importers and distributors of a wide range of marine solutions, ACM specialise in designing and manufacturing floating navigation buoys.
Announcing the acquisition, FenderCare Managing Director Eric Plane was keen to stress that customers would see few changes “Australian Commercial Marine is a well run company with an excellent team and strong product range. We will be exploring opportunities together for products and services. ACM will continue to trade as before.

Scan Tech
Agreement has been reached for Scan-tech, a sister company in the James Fisher Group, to stock and supply the full range of FenderCare products through its offices in Stavanger.
Scan Tech is a leading provider of high technology solutions and services to the North Sea oil and gas industry, from initial exploration through the production cycle.
The company provides a complete package of services, including design and engineering of specialist equipment, platform maintenance and modification, well tested support and sub sea operations, pipeline excavation and maintenance services.
Founded in 1995, Scan Tech is Norway’s leading supplier of ATEX products and support services for use in hazardous atmospheres in the energy sector. With over 100 employees, the company has a depth of engineering skills covering such diverse areas as lifting systems, steam and compressed air and remote sub sea excavation.
The agreement introduces FenderCare products including fenders, buoys, mooring systems, ropes and support services to the Norwegian market through an established local company with deep roots in many of our key markets.
