Fendercare Marine inks agreement with Damen Anchor and Chain Factory

Fendercare Marine takes steps to better meet customer needs with Damen Anchor and Chain Factory (AKF) partnership agreement.

Fendercare Marine and AKF have joined forces to support customer demand with a wider availability of quality marine equipment, signing a joint partnership agreement in June 2019.

Through this partnership, there will be an increased stock of anchors, chains and chain fittings, as well as installation services for anchors and chains. By working together in this way, both parties can provide customers with confidence in the knowledge that the equipment they need is available worldwide, and help to enhance the efficiency of customer operations.

Lara Griffin, director for the products division at Fendercare Marine explains:

"Fendercare Marine is extremely delighted to be signing the agreement. This is an exciting alliance for both companies, we look forward offering a wider portfolio of products and services to our valued customers."

Walter Treffers, sales manager at AKF adds:

"This partnership represents a win-win for all stakeholders. It increases the product portfolio of Fendercare Marine with AKF’s proven product range and gives AKF products an even wider geographical distribution than before. Of course, the real benefit here is for our client, as we intended. They will now have improved availability of our products, equalling shorter lead times, which, ultimately means more uptime and improved earning potential.

We are very much looking forward to working together with Fendercare in the future."

The agreement took place at this year’s Seawork exhibition in Southampton with Fendercare Marine’s Lara Griffin and AKF’s Walter Treffers.
