Fendercare Marine partners with Craig International in Qatar

Fendercare Marine expands its marine product supply network with Craig International in Qatar.

Fendercare Marine, part of James Fisher and Sons plc, has signed a new distribution agreement with one of the global leaders in oilfield procurement services, Craig International – a member of the Craig Group, helping to improve customer service through the local stock and supply of high-quality marine Fenders.

With the aim of supporting customers locally in Qatar and adding value to the procurement processes, the agreement with Craig International means Fendercare Marine now offers a comprehensive range of high-quality marine products from Doha, enhancing customer service by increasing product availability and improving efficiency.

Steve Gibson, Craig International’s regional manager Middle East, comments:

“We are delighted to work with Fendercare Marine to enhance their customer experience by bringing specialised marine products paired with unrivalled sourcing services closer to the shores of Qatar. This partnership adds to our overall service offering and reputation as a leading procurement services provider to the energy industry.”

The new stock location, close to the Hamad Port, addresses local supply issues with the provision of a wide stock of marine products, such as fendering solutions, a full range of ropes, chains and shackles and deck and quayside equipment, to support the region’s port, marine and offshore industries. Plans are also in place to offer fender inspection and maintenance services, adding further value for customers.

“The ability to provide a rapid response is critical to the marine and offshore industry and our strategic alliance with Craig International adds significant value to our customers by providing immediate availability of our products and services.

“As a global maritime supplier we’re relentlessly focused on offering solutions to any challenge experienced by customers.”
